Part 2 of 2These files contain the readings for the subject Science and Technology in the Society (STS) under Professor Solano. These readings are for his STS classes for Summer 2008. These files are zipped together so that downloading them will be easier. The first file entitled " Complete STS Readings" already contain everything that the other zip files have. So if you download it, no need to download the other zip files. The other zip files were grouped according to the section in which the readings belong. So if you are just particularly interested on just a specific section of the required readings, you may just download the reading section you are interested in. Please do refer to the STS syllabus for delineation of topics that belong to each section. The files had been scanned for viruses, spywares and malwares. They are found to be clean, even to the point of being sterile. Haha! Attachment: STS Readings 4th Section.zipAttachment: STS Readings Miscellaneous Files.zip

I still have not completely decided on the thing I shall do. So many things are popping out of my head lately. These things are about my impending tonsillectomy. *I have tonsillitis right now.* Stuff like: - When will I get operated upon? It should be done prior to the start of our mandatory summer classes. However, summer classes will already start on Friday! Waaaahhh!
- How about my recovery, the post-operative period? How long will it last? *I should recover fast because I'll have classes soon.*
- How will I eat? I do not like to have an NGT (Nasogastric Tube)! *I'm OA!*
- How about the anesthesia? Will it not affect my memory? I do not want my noobish memory get worse. *I know that this thing has not been proven yet. However, it has not been disproved as well, so there is still a posibility of it occuring.* Waaaahhhh!!!
I need to weigh things very well. I must develop an Intra-operative NCP for myself. I must be organized and systematic in the things I shall do. *Yuck! Toxic!*
I have become extremely lazy for the past few days! It is not that I am not a lazy being in the past, but I feel that I had become more of a sloth! As you know, I am the best sloth in bed. I n such light, I believe I have become a better(?) sloth. I have become better in the art of pigging out with food and hogging up the bed for sleep. It is as if it is the only thing I was born to do so. With this new incremental increase upon my great ability to harness the power of the gods of food and sleep, I think no one can beat me on these departments anymore. It is just so bad that the god of fats always bother me with his offerings I don't even desire for. This omnipotent being has come to love me so much that he has decided to be with me for as long as I let him be! **************** Yesterday was the break of our christmas break. Meaning, we had our first class for this year. Yey! *Kunwari pa! As if excited pumasok!* Anyway, I saw my batchmates again and only a few people changed in term of horizontal dimension is concerned. As you know, it was the holiday season and food was pretty much abundant. In my opinion, this past holiday season, the people had been pretty mindful of the food they were munching on except for myself! People were able to maintain the fat content of their bodies in their normal values. Haha! Our group for N181 was lucky enough to be the first reporters for the year. The report went about just ok. Except the part were our Professor kept on asking about the other topics that we were not able to discuss. So much for a short report, I guess. I am happy that the game I proposed and thought of was able to relate well on the context of our report. I am also glad that my classmate for such class enjoyed it! Yey! Well to clarify the first statement of the second section of this post, "Yesterday was the break of our christmas break;" Yesterday's class was the only school day we have for this week. Meaning, we still have three more glorious days of vacation in our sleeves before we start slaving ourselves with the hospital and community duties on Monday. The break of our Christmas break is over so it is time to continue the sloth life for the rest of the week! Yey!!!!
