When we last saw "CSI Miami," Kyle’s mother, Julia, suddenly popped into Horatio’s life when the CSI investigated the death of her dead billionaire husband. When it was time for Kyle to face his day in court for the kidnapping of Kathleen Newberry, the case was thrown out after Kathleen didn’t show up for court. It turns out Kathleen was bound, gagged and thrown in the water and Horatio is convinced that Julia had something to do with this latest crime which, coincidentally, kept her son out of jail. When we last saw "CSI: New York," a drowning victim was found dead in a self-cleaning restroom. Those close to the case chalked it up to a freak accident, but Mac and his team weren't so sure and decided to investigate the possibility of foul play. They were right, of course. The victim was actually in cahoots with a convicted felon, and was using miniaturized writing hidden on the backs of postage stamps to hatch a plot to spring the criminal from prison. However, in a bizarre twist, their plan backfired when the victim was accidentally killed in a plot by a rival public restroom company. The show is expected to shoot 7 new episodes to begin airing on April 7.
